Jung I am the boss of Mint English and many of our students have some questions. I will be their representative to ask you the questions.(저는 민트영어의 사장이고 많은 학생들이 궁금한 점들을 말하는데, 제가 대표로 그 질문들을 선생님께 할게요.)

Jung Actually, every year, teachers send presents to their students. They send their packages to the Korean office. Korean managers arrange their packages and send them to students’ houses. So, after student get present, they show their teacher how thankful this is. So teacher can you teach us how to show grateful our teacher?((사실 매년 선생님들이 학생들에게 선물을 보냅니다. 선생님들은 선물을 한국 사무실로 보내고 한국에 있는 관리자들이 선물을 정리해서 학생들의 집으로 보내죠. 그렇게 해서 학생들이 선물을 받으면 학생들이 선생님께 얼마나 감사함을 느끼는지 표현하죠. 그런데 선생님 어떻게 말하면 감사함을 잘 표현할 수 있을까요?)

Dawn “Struck a chord with me” means connecting to someone at an emotional level. With our sentence “The gift from you really struck a chord with me” means that the student was touched by the gift.("Struck a chord with me"라는 뜻은 다른 사람과 감정선이 열결되어 있다는 걸 뜻해요. 그러니까 "The gift from you really struck a chord with me"라는 문장은 학생이 선물을 받고 감동을 받았다는 뜻이죠.)
